This leadership class, equips leaders with the mindset, tools, and skills to achieve what is most important to them regardless of the challenges they face and to skillfully empower those reporting to them to own behaviors and achieve targeted results. The session is packed with insight, activities, and practical tools to help leaders empower themselves and their followers.

- Understand the three spheres of control and how to direct their focus to enhance wellbeing and performance.
- Redefine accountability through the lens of the Absolute Accountability principles.
- Learn a simple model of ownership that can be shared with teams to drive results.
- Explore and assess their competency in regard to six things leaders can do to promote accountability with their team members.
- Identify tools to integrate into their daily work in order to apply the absolute accountability principles.

Beth Guyton is an accomplished leader with rich experience in business development, leadership development, and consulting. She is passionate about developing people and high performing cultures to achieve strategic business objectives. She is an AI enthusiast eager to equip leaders and workforces with enhanced interpersonal skills for today¡¦s tech-centered industrial revolution. Her most recent role brought her to Springfield. She enjoys the Ozarks, sees immense potential in the community, and wants to invest in the 417 area.Beth is a strategic, visionary executive who combines business acumen with a deep understanding of people and processes. She is a quick study able to rapidly assess opportunities and build trusting relationships with key stakeholders to drive results.
Most recently Beth served as the VP of Patient Experience for the Mercy Springfield Communities. In this role, she rapidly implemented strategies and tactics to dramatically improve experience scores across care settings. Prior to joining Mercy, Beth founded and ran a consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations achieve targeted business objectives. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Beth was a successful sales executive for two Fortune 100 companies. She is recognized as an exceptional communicator, presenter, and facilitator.
Beth holds a Master¡¦s in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from George Mason University and a BA in Advertising from the Manship School of Journalism at Louisiana State University. She is an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC), a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Six Sigma Green Belt, and has a Certification for Mediation and Negotiation from North Lake College in Irving Texas.
Beth serves on the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks¡¦ board and is an alum of the Biz 417 Remarkable program.
