SYNOPSIS:
o This course of instruction covers the duties, roles and responsibilities of a LE or Civilian Jailer who has been appointed by the Sheriff.

Job duties of Jailers typically include:
o inmate processing
o maintaining order in the jail and invoking disciplinary measures when necessary.
o In addition, a county jailer may also perform cell searches for drugs and other contraband, inspect the facility for cleanliness and stand guard during exercise periods.
