Leslie Seawright

Dr. Leslie Seawright is an Associate Professor of English at Missouri State University with extensive experience teaching technical and professional writing. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Arkansas and has taught internationally at Texas A&M University in Qatar. As a researcher specializing in generative AI, Dr. Seawright collaborates with colleagues at the University of Texas to explore AI's role in qualitative coding and document design. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate students how to integrate AI tools effectively into various modes of communication and practical tasks.

Rhonda Stanton

Dr. Rhonda Stanton is an Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Technical/Professional Writing Program at Missouri State University. She is a published scholar and the author of Beginning Technical Writing, an online, interactive textbook. With a Ph.D. from Texas Tech University, Dr. Stanton teaches courses in technical writing, editing, and pedagogy while overseeing undergraduate and graduate internships. In her courses, she helps students learn how to use AI in their daily lives, coursework, and communication in effective and ethical ways. Her corporate experience includes developing training materials, conducting employee and client training, and working in human resources. The combination of academic expertise and professional experience provides Dr. Stanton with a unique perspective that helps students transfer from the university into professional roles.
